New Lesson Book

This Sunday we start a new lesson book and the month of March comes from I Peter.  It looks to be a great set of lessons.

Carrying the Cross of Christ

A believer living in God's Word does not see the cross of Christ as a burden, instead, it is a joyous symbol of the victory that faith in Jesus Christ provides.  If we are burdened by the cross of Christ then we must realize our burdens are not the cross itself; burdens come from holding to the worldly concerns and possessions that we know we must let go of to follow Christ and take up His cross.
I challenge you to immerse yourself into Psalm 51 and see the heart that God is looking for in His people, then spend the first three minutes of everyday asking God to give you that kind of heart.
